Notte e dì (1946)
Quando il suo primo spettacolo teatrale fallisce, il cantautore Cole Porter parte per combattere nella prima guerra mondiale finché, ferito, finisce in ospedale. Impressiona l'infermiera Linda Lee con la sua creatività, ma la loro storia d'amore sbocciante deve aspettare perché Cole torna a casa. Tornato a New York, mette in scena una serie di spettacoli popolari e quando il suo lavoro lo riporta in Europa, alla fine sposa Linda. Ma il successo non lo risparmia dalle complicazioni coniugali o dalle cattive notizie su un caro parente.
