Frozen (2010)
Tre studenti universitari, Dan Walker, la sua ragazza Parker O'Neil e il miglior amico di Dan Joe Lynch, decidono di trascorrere una giornata domenicale sugli snowboard in montagna nel Massachusetts. Giunta la sera (e con gli impianti che resteranno chiusi fino al venerdì successivo) i tre riescono ad estorcere all'addetto un ultimo passaggio su una seggiovia a tre posti. Costui però deve allontanarsi e chi lo sostituisce per un equivoco crede che tutti i passeggeri siano scesi e toglie la corrente. I tre restano sospesi nel vuoto ed esposti al gelo. Inizialmente sperano in una ripartenza dell'impianto ma ben presto debbono cominciare ad adattarsi all'idea che la loro discesa non sarà imminente.
