Johnny Suede (1991)
Bello e un po' fesso, feticista dei propri capelli a banana e delle scarpe scamosciate blu (da cui prende il nome), patito di Ricky Nelson e del rockabilly, Johnny fa fatica a New York a passare dalla lunga adolescenza all'età adulta e ha rapporti incasinati con le donne. 1ª regia di DiCillo, direttore della fotografia per Jim Jarmusch di cui sente l'influenza. Un esordio intelligente e simpatico con un film indipendente che ha in Pitt un ottimo protagonista. Pardo d'oro a Locarno 1991.
