Michael Clayton (2007)
Michael Clayton è un ex pubblico ministero che lavora da anni per un importante studio legale. Il suo compito è quello di 'aggiustare' la verità coprendo i guai dei clienti più facoltosi. La falsificazione dei fatti è la sua specialità. Pur lavorando per lo studio da 15 anni non ne è diventato socio ma è legato a filo doppio al suo impiego a causa anche della sua passione per il gioco d'azzardo e dei debiti che deve saldare per un investimento nel settore della ristorazione fallito non per colpa sua. Il giorno in cui si trova a dover affrontare il caso di una grossa società che opera nel settore dei prodotti chimici, che è stata chiamata in causa per l'immissione sul mercato di un prodotto altamente cancerogeno, per lui giunge la resa dei conti con se stesso.
