Missione all'alba (1938)
Francia, 1915. Il maggior Brand comanda il 39° squadrone aeronautico reale, composto da giovani piloti che molto spesso finiscono crivellati dai nemici. Oltre al tasso di mortalità spaventosamente alto, Brand deve fare i conti anche con l'insubordinazione del capitano Courtney, che ben presto assumerà il controllo del gruppo.
