Liam (2001)
Liam ha sette anni e vive in un quartiere irlandese cattolico a Liverpool. La sua è una famiglia affettuosa in cui lui, suo fratello e sua sorella entrambi più grandi, vivono sereni con i genitori. I tempi sono duri ma loro studiano e il padre ha un lavoro sicuro. Poi arriva la Depressione, il padre perde il lavoro e tutto cambia. La famiglia, per fortuna è ricca di umanità e di humour e questo li aiuta a sovravvivere.
