Nel lontano regno di Mandolan sta andando tutto a rotoli. Il trono è stato maledetto ed ogni volta che il Gran Visir Guliman cerca di salirci viene catapultato via. Disperato, chiede aiuto a Maga Martina, che con i suoi incantesimi dovrà aiutarlo a riprendere possesso del trono e del regno. Ma, poco dopo il suo arrivo in compagnia del suo fedele draghetto Ettore, Martina scopre che l'avido Gran Visir sta facendo il doppio gioco: infatti, con l’aiuto del malvagio stregone Abrash, ha fatto prigioniero il Re legittimo Nandi. Fortunatamente Martina può contare sui suoi poteri magici, su Musa, un astuto ragazzo di strada e, ovviamente, sul fedele Ettore.
