North Sea Jazz Highlights (2016)
Il North Sea Jazz Festival è un festival annuale che si svolge ogni secondo fine settimana di luglio nei Paesi Bassi nella sede di Ahoy .Il fondatore del festival di tre giorni fu Paul Acket, un uomo d'affari e un amante del jazz che fece una fortuna negli anni '60 con la sua casa editrice di riviste pop. Quando Acket vendette la sua azienda nel 1975, fu in grado di avviare e sponsorizzare il North Sea Jazz Festival. Acket voleva presentare il jazz americano e il jazz europeo d'avanguardia . Il festival è riconosciuto come il "più grande festival jazz al coperto del mondo" e ha la reputazione di mostrare diverse aree del jazz di tutte le epoche.
