So dove vado (1945)
Una venticinquenne, Joan Webster, che non ha mai avuto alcun tipo di esitazione nel corso della sua vita finisce per arrabbiarsi sul serio quando il maltempo le impedisce di raggiungere un'isola dell'arcipelago delle Ebridi. Su quell'isola la ragazza dovrebbe convolare a giuste, non per lei, nozze con un anziano e soprattutto ricco industriale. Non è un caso se proprio durante questa sosta la ragazza conosca l'affascinante Torquil.
