Nevrland (2019)
Jakob ha 17 anni e vive con suo padre e suo nonno nella periferia di Vienna. Quando, finito il liceo, è costretto a lavorare nel mattatoio del padre in attesa di iscriversi all’università, i suoi disturbi d’ansia diventano più intensi, accendendo un desiderio che cerca di colmare online. Su un sito di chat erotiche incontra l’affascinante Kristjan. Il loro incontro, prima virtuale e poi reale, spingerà Jakob a lasciarsi andare. Ma le ferite più profonde della sua anima lo aspetteranno nei meandri più oscuri di Nevrland, mettendo a rischio l’integrità della sua stessa psiche. Un film sulla potenza del desiderio che affermandosi può stravolgere l’intera esistenza, distruggendo le nostre certezze fino a portarci in un luogo in cui lo stesso concetto di identità sembra perdere ogni tipo di significato.
