Luke Malloy è un ragazzo che deve dire addio alla stagione estiva, cosa non facile dato che il giorno dopo deve affrontare la sfida del primo giorno di scuola media. Luke desidera fortemente che l'ultimo giorno d'estate non finisca mai... e miracolosamente questo accade! Il protagonista riesce così a rivivere lo stesso giorno più e più volte, cercando di fare le maggiori cose possibili, anche le più imbarazzanti, che nessuno si sarebbe ricordato il giorno seguente....
