You, the Living (2007)
In un'anonima città svedese s'intrecciano storie di vite umane alle prese con solitudini e inquietudini, ferocemente ingabbiate in scarse soddisfazioni e mancanze di prospettive future. E allora, in un'atmosfera costantemente rarefatta dalla nebbia densa e dal grigiore metropolitano, si muovono figure diafane, che naufragano all'interno della loro anima incerti su dove andare, cosa fare e perché: c'è la giovane maestra che litiga per motivi futili con il marito, c'è la ragazzina follemente innamorata di un giovane musicista, c'è una donna che sfoga sul compagno e nel bere le sue frustrazioni. Ognuno di loro cerca però di rimanere a galla, di reagire con la musica e con l'autoironia, facendosi quasi caricatura di se stesso e delle sue problematiche esistenziali.
