Nel Borneo, ai margini della foresta tropicale, Kéria trova un cucciolo di orango nella piantagione di olio di palma dove lavora il padre e decide di adottarlo. Suo cugino Selaï, nel frattempo, si rifugia a casa loro per allontanarsi dalla faida tra la sua famiglia nomade e le compagnie del legname. Insieme, Kéria, Selaï e il piccolo orango Oshi affronteranno tutti gli ostacoli per combattere la distruzione della foresta ancestrale, più minacciata che mai.
