Take Shelter (2011)
Curtis LaForche è un uomo che farebbe tutto per sua moglie Samantha e la loro piccola bambina. Da alcuni giorni l'uomo soffre di incubi notturni, in cui una tempesta di proporzioni bibliche si abbatte sulla sua casa e mette in pericolo i suoi cari. Sempre più ossessionato da oscure minacce incombenti, Curtis decide di costruire sotto terra un rifugio anti uragano in grado di tenere al sicuro ognuno di loro. Ma gli incubi non scompaiono, anzi ben presto si trasformano in vere e proprie allucinazioni. La paranoia si trasforma in schizofrenia, finché il terrore di una catastrofe imminente non sopraffà la sua mente sconvolta.
