Il rito (1969)
Tre attori ricchi e famosi, Thea, Sebastian e Hans, legati fra loro anche da un tormentato triangolo amoroso, sono convocati da un giudice che indaga sulla presunta oscenità del loro spettacolo. Il magistrato li sottopone a minuziosi interrogatori, cercando di fiaccare la loro baldanza. In fondo, però, egli invidia la loro libertà interiore, anche se prova l'irresistibile desiderio di abbassarli al suo livello di mediocrità
