La canzone di Broadway (1929)
La storia è quella di due sorelle, Hank e Queenie Mahoney, che vogliono sfondare a Broadway come ballerine e per questo si fanno aiutare dal fidanzato di Hank, il cantante e ballerino Eddie Kerns, che però mostra evidenti attenzioni per la sorella della sua ragazza. Questa però si lascia abbindolare da un milionario approfittatore che ha conosciuto dietro le quinte del palcoscenico dove ha riscosso grande successo come sostituta di una delle soubrette principali. Alla fine Queenie si accorgerà del vero amore che ha Eddie nei suoi confronti e Hank accetterà la situazione con serenità.
