The Dissident (2020)
Il film segue l'assassinio di Jamal Khashoggi e lo sforzo dell'Arabia Saudita per controllare il dissenso internazionale. Al centro del documentario c'è la storia dell'attivista e video blogger saudita Omar Abdulaziz. Secondo Bryan Fogel, l'obiettivo del film è quello di "approfondire l'omicidio di Khashoggi e le sue ramificazioni". Mentre un rapporto della CIA pubblicato dall'amministrazione Biden ha coinvolto il principe ereditario saudita Mohammed bin Salman nella morte di Khashoggi, Fogel crede che il principe non dovrà mai affrontare un mandato di cattura dell'Interpol o un'indagine formale, considerando la grande quantità di ricchezza che possiede.
