Una gorilla per amica (1995)
Rick Heller, un giovane delinquente, ha la pessima abitudine di mettersi sempre nei guai in compagnia dei suoi amici balordi. La madre, una studiosa del mondo animale, decide di toglierlo dalla strada e salvarlo dalla prigione costringendolo a lavorare per lei nello zoo. Il suo nuovo compito è quello di pulire la gabbia di Katie, un gorilla che sta imparando a comunicare con l'uomo usando la gestualità. Superate le difficoltà iniziali, tra i due nasce una grande amicizia. A rovinare tutto ci pensa il cattivo di turno, un commerciante senza cuore che vuole trasformare Katie in un'attrazione da baraccone.
