Twisters (2024)
Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones) è un'ex cacciatrice di uragani segnata dall’incontro devastante con un tornado durante i suoi anni al college. Kate, che ora studia i percorsi degli uragani al riparo nel suo ufficio di New York City, viene spinta a tornare in campo dal suo amico Javi per testare un innovativo sistema di tracciamento. Il suo percorso incrocia quello di Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), un'affascinante e spericolata superstar dei social media che si diverte a postare le sue avventure a caccia di tempeste con il suo gruppo: più sono pericolose, meglio è! Con l'intensificarsi della stagione delle tempeste, si scatenano fenomeni terrificanti mai visti prima e Kate, Tyler e le loro rispettive squadre si ritrovano sulla traiettoria di molteplici sistemi temporaleschi che convergono sull'Oklahoma centrale e che metteranno a dura prova la loro sopravvivenza.
