Le paludi della morte (2011)
Texas City. Mike e Brian sono due agenti della omicidi, alle prese con un serial killer che abbandona i corpi straziati delle sue vittime, alcune delle quali giovanissime, in un'area paludosa e maledetta: i cosidetti “killing fields”. Nonostante la scena del crimine sia fuori dalla loro giurisdizione, e Mike inizialmente cerchi di convincere il collega a lasciar perdere, l'agente Brian si sente in dovere di indagare su quei terribili delitti e fermare l'assassino. Quando sparisce Anne, la ragazzina del posto che Brian ha preso sotto la sua protezione quasi fosse una figlia, inizia una lotta contro il tempo e un viaggio anche metaforico nelle oscure e fangose paludi della società americana.
