La volpe (1967)
Due giovani donne, Marzia e Jill, per realizzare un loro desiderio di indipendenza impiantano un allevamento di polli in una confortevole fattoria praticamente isolata dal resto del mondo. La tranquilla esistenza delle due ragazze è turbata dall'arrivo di Paul, un giovane marinaio, il quale riesce a farsi ospitare nella fattoria per un paio di settimane. Innamoratosi di Marzia, Paul non esita a proporle di diventare sua moglie ma al progetto di matrimonio si oppone accanitamente Jill, che tenta in ogni modo di screditare il giovane pretendente agli occhi dell'amica. Contesa fra il morboso attaccamento dimostratole da Jill e l'amore di Paul, Marzia si dimostra esitante a prendere una decisione. Alla fine Jill, prevedendo la sua imminente sconfitta, cerca e trova la morte in un incidente.
