Anita e Fred si conoscono da cinquant'anni e ora, con i figli ormai cresciuti, si apre un nuovo capitolo della loro vita. Tuttavia, l’inattesa malattia di Fred e il suo tentativo di nasconderla mettono improvvisamente tutto in discussione. Solo restando uniti potranno affrontare con determinazione il destino che hanno scelto di condividere.
