The Accursed (2022)
Dopo il suicidio della madre, Elly è costretta a far ritorno nella sua città natale per vendere la casa di famiglia. Qui però viene perseguitata da terrificanti visioni di sua madre. Consumata dal senso di colpa e desiderosa di una rapida fuga, Elly accetta un'offerta come badante temporanea per prendersi cura della comatosa Ms. Ambrose. Ben presto Elly si confronta con Mary Lynn, una cacciatrice di streghe, che è determinata a rimuovere la maledizione demoniaca che affligge la sua famiglia da generazioni. Elly scopre allora che Ms. Ambrose ha una storia nelle arti nere, così come una misteriosa connessione con la madre di Elly. E mentre cerca di svelare la verità, diventa fin troppo chiaro che Elly è stata attirata in quel luogo per altre, nefaste, ragioni.
