Il progetto è stato avviato a seguito della cancellazione forzata dei concerti previsti per maggio 2021 alla Royal Albert Hall a causa dei continui problemi causati dalla pandemia. Eric Clapton, con il bassista Nathan East, il batterista Steve Gadd e Chris Stainton alle tastiere, sforna un delizioso set di brani, concepito come Unplugged II. Il risultato è diventato molto più di una semplice sequenza di grandi successi, ma è una delle esibizioni più intime e autentiche dell'intera carriera di Clapton.
