Holy Spider (2022)
Siamo a Mashhad, seconda città più grande dell'Iran e importante sito religioso. Nel 2000, un serial killer locale inizia a prendere di mira le prostitute per strada, strangolandone diciassette dopo averle attirate una ad una a casa sua. La stampa lo chiama "il ragno", e tra i giornalisti che coprono il caso c'è Rahimi, una donna che viene da Teheran e si mette sulle tracce dell'assassino. L'uomo si rivelerà essere Saeed Hanaei, ex-militare convinto che Dio gli abbia affidato la missione di liberare la città dalle donne indegne che vendono il proprio corpo.
