L'arcangelo Michele, per ricongiungere il reietto Duke alla sua anima perduta, scende sulla terra e passa diverse disavventure. Divenuti presto affezionati amici, Duke uccide un rivale, ma, scampato grazie all'aiuto della sua fidanzata alla cattura, è Michele ad essere ritenuto colpevole del misfatto. La confessione di Duke è la prova della sua redenzione.
