Due amiche per la pelle che facevano parte di un gruppo chiamato "The Banger Sisters" si rincontrano dopo alcuni decenni. Una di loro, Suzette, fa la cameriera a Los Angeles ed è una nostalgica dei tempi passati; l'altra, Lavinia, è una signora dell'alta borghesia di Phoenix che, al contrario, vorrebbe seppellire il passato.
