Tracy, spinta dalle sue due amiche del cuore ormai felicemente in coppia, decide di portare il velo nuziale da un sarto italiano per una piccola riparazione. Lì incontra un uomo da cui al contempo si sente attratta ma anche respinta per quanto la irrita. Lo sconosciuto è il talentuoso chef italiano incaricato di preparare la cena di gala presso la casa d’aste dove lavora. La profezia del velo sembra continuare ad esercitare il suo potere anche su Tracy.
