Il truffatore di Tinder, film diretto da Felicity Morris, è un documentario che racconta la storia di alcune donne, che dopo aver avuto un match su Tinder, decidono di uscire con l'uomo in questione. L'appuntamento va a gonfie vele e sembra tutto perfetto, tanto da sentirsi come in un film romantico. A un certo punto della loro frequentazione, però, quest'uomo dei sogni avvisa che è in grave pericolo e ha bisogno di denaro per uscirne. È così che chiede alla conquista di turno di aiutarlo economicamente, prestandogli quindi dei soldi, per poi sparire nel nulla. Il truffatore di Tinder potrebbe aver agito in tutto il mondo, raggirando milioni di donne, fingendosi un facoltoso uomo d'affari per poi rivelarsi un astuto criminale. Le donne truffate da una persona che all'atto pratico non esiste sono pronte ad avere la loro vendetta...
