Amandla (2022)
Amandla è uno slogan di resistenza contro l'apartheid e significa potere. L'apartheid in Sud Africa è ancora in pieno vigore quando, nel 1987, i due fratelli Impi e Nkosana sono cresciuti in una fattoria come figli di servi. I proprietari bianchi sono persone liberali che non sono troppo particolari riguardo alla segregazione razziale. I neri africani lo hanno relativamente bene lì. Anche un tenero legame amoroso si sviluppa tra Impi e la bionda figlia Elizabeth. Ma devono stare in guardia quando i contadini vicini vengono in visita. Quando un giorno tre boeri razzisti arrivano alla fattoria, si verificano tragici incidenti con conseguenze terribili. I due ragazzi Zulu ora sono soli. Diversi anni dopo essere sopravvissuti a questa tragedia infantile, i fratelli ormai cresciuti si trovano ciascuno dalla parte opposta della legge. Uno è un gangster, l'altro è un agente di polizia. Un atroce crimine di gruppo mette alla prova la loro lealtà reciproca.
