Quando una madre surrogata si affeziona troppo al bambino che ha portato in grembo per una giovane coppia, questa cerca di staccarsi da lei. Ma la madre surrogata inizia ad avvelenare la madre (senza mettere in pericolo il bambino) in una truffa che la terrà in giro, e poi, quando la mamma non ci sarà più, la madre surrogata avrà il bambino, il marito e la vita suburbana che lei desidera così ardentemente.
