Steve Austin sta lavorando alla sicurezza agli International Goodwill Games. Oscar va nel suo ufficio e viene attaccato da un intruso. In seguito Steve scopre che il suo nullaosta di sicurezza è stato declassato. La persona che ha fatto irruzione conosceva i protocolli di sicurezza OSI ed è anch’essa bionica. Qualcuno sta progettando qualcosa agli International Goodwill Games. Così, mentre Steve e Jamie cercano di scoprire cosa succederà, Oscar lascia l’OSI quando suo nipote viene ferito e la sua richiesta che Rudy Wells lo operi, viene negata. Successivamente viene fatto prigioniero.
