False verità (2005)
Nel 1957 Lanny Morris e Vince Collins sono i due più famosi ed amati intrattenitori che conduco con successo il telethon, formando una delle coppie più affiatate del mondo dello spettacolo. Una ragazza viene trovata morta nella loro stanza d'albergo, anche se non vengono accusati di nulla visti i loro alibi, questo fatto segnerà per sempre le loro carriere e la loro amicizia. Quindici anni più tardi, quando Lanny è in procinto di pubblicare un'autobiografia, l'ambiziosa giornalista Karen O'Connor vuole far luce sul passato dei due intrattenitori e scoprire cosa è realmente successo la notte in cui Maureen O'Flaherty è stata trovata morta.
