Vera Ann Farmiga (6 agosto 1973) è un'attrice statunitense. Ha iniziato la sua carriera professionale di attrice a teatro nella produzione originale di Broadway di Taking Sides (1996). Dopo essersi espansa alla televisione e al cinema, la sua svolta arrivò con il ruolo da protagonista di tossicodipendente nel dramma Down to the Bone (2004). Successivamente ha avuto ruoli nel thriller politico The Manchurian Candidate (2004), nel crime drama The Departed (2006) e nel dramma storico The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008). È stata anche affermata come una regina delle urla per le sue interpretazioni nei film horror Joshua (2007) e Orphan (2009).
