Helen Rachel Slater (nata il 15 dicembre 1963) è un'attrice e cantautrice statunitense. È meglio conosciuta per il suo ruolo di protagonista nel film Supergirl del 1984. È tornata nella serie TV del 2015 con lo stesso titolo, questa volta nei panni della madre adottiva di Supergirl, Eliza Danvers. Negli anni successivi, ha recitato in diversi film tra cui La leggenda di Billie Jean (1985), Ruthless People (1986), Il segreto del mio successo (1987) e City Slickers (1991). Ha inoltre trovato lavoro come attrice in televisione e progetti teatrali, tra cui tre apparizioni come ospite nella serie Smallville (2007-2010).
