William Holden (17 aprile 1918 – 12 novembre 1981) è stato un attore americano. Vinse l'Oscar come miglior attore nel 1953 e l'Emmy come miglior attore nel 1974. Uno dei maggiori successi al botteghino degli anni '50, fu nominato sei volte tra le "Top 10 Stars of the Year" (1954–1958, 1961) e apparve nell'edizione AFI's 100 Years... dell'American Film Institute. La lista 100 Stelle è la #25.
