Connie Nielsen (nata il 3 luglio 1965) è un'attrice danese, conosciuta per le sue interpretazioni nel cinema internazionale e per la sua capacità di spaziare tra ruoli drammatici, d'azione e produzioni d'autore. Dopo gli inizi della carriera in Francia e Italia, ha raggiunto la fama mondiale grazie al film Il gladiatore (2000) di Ridley Scott, nel quale ha interpretato Lucilla, sorella dell'imperatore Commodo. La sua interpretazione le ha permesso di affermarsi a livello internazionale e di ottenere numerosi ruoli in importanti produzioni cinematografiche. Nel corso della sua carriera ha recitato in film come L'avvocato del diavolo, Mission to Mars, Insider - Dietro la verità, Wonder Woman e Justice League, dove interpreta Ippolita, regina delle Amazzoni e madre di Diana Prince. Ha inoltre lavorato con registi come Brian De Palma e Lars von Trier.
