სამედიცინოს ხუთი სტუდენტი შეპყრობილია სურვილით გაიგოს რა ხდება სიკვდილის შემდეგ. ისინი გადაწყვეტენ საკუთარი გამოცდილებით გამოიტანონ დასკვნები. გულის გაჩერებით ცდილობენ კლინიკური სიკვდილი განიცადონ და გაიგონ რა ხდება სიკვდილის შემდეგ. მაგრამ აუცილებელია სიფრთხილის გამოჩენა.
