Imaginary Heroine (2012)
Deze korte film is een eerbetoon aan actrice en cabaretier Mary Walsh. Door archieffoto's van het centrum van St. John's en suggestieve beelden te combineren, vertelt het opmerkelijke verhaal van een klein meisje dat naast haar familie opgroeide. Geïnspireerd door Mary Walsh’ toneelstuk Dancing with Rage, onthult de film het hart van de unieke personages gecreëerd door de grand dame van de komedie uit Newfoundland. Geproduceerd door de National Film Board of Canada in samenwerking met het National Arts Centre en de Governor General's Performing Arts Awards Foundation ter gelegenheid van de Governor General's Performing Arts Awards 2012.
