Tea with Mussolini (1999)
1935. De moeder van Luca is gestorven en zijn biologische vader wil niets met dit bastaardkind te maken hebben. Een van de Britse dames in Florence die de Scorpioni genoemd worden, ontfermt zich over het kind en gezamenlijk voeden de dames het kind op. De meest markante dame van het gezelschap is de vrouw van de overleden Britse ambassadeur en als de oorlog in Europa begint gaat ze op theevisite bij dictator Mussolini, om zijn verzekering te krijgen dat er geen vijandigheden tussen Italië en Groot-Brittannië zullen zijn.
