The Limey (1999)
Ruim negen jaar heeft de Engelsman David Wilson in de gevangenis doorgebracht. Eenmaal vrij neemt hij het eerste de beste vliegtuig naar Los Angeles om er de man te vinden die hij verantwoordelijk acht voor de dood van zijn dochter. Bij die zoektocht wordt hij geholpen door een andere ex-gevangene. Via de onderwereld stuiten ze al snel op de charismatische Terry Valentine. Valentine, die een verhouding had met Davids dochter, heeft het niet op de indringers begrepen. Wilson overleeft ternauwernood de aanslagen op zijn leven.
