The Story Lady (1991)
Wanneer Grace bij haar dochter en schoonzoon komt wonen, wil ze graag een manier vinden om nuttig te zijn in de gemeenschap. Ze leest graag verhalen voor aan kinderen en besluit er een voor te lezen op de openbare televisie. De respons is zo sterk dat een groot bedrijf ervan hoort en haar een televisieserie aanbiedt. Haar leven wordt ingewikkeld als ze gedwongen wordt een aantal serieuze beslissingen te nemen. Door dit alles heen is Grace in staat om een jonge moeder te helpen beseffen dat tijd het meest waardevolle geschenk is dat ze haar dochter kan geven.
