Going Down in La-La Land (2011)
De jonge, knappe Adam uit New York droomt ervan om een ster te worden. Hij trekt in bij zijn vriendin Candy die, tussen audities door, haar tijd doorbrengt met sporten, winkelen en het zoeken naar een rijke man. Adam maakt een moeizame start met weinig inkomen en een onuitstaanbare baan bij een callcenter. Een nieuwe filmproductie ziet er veelbelovend uit, maar Adam krijgt te maken met uitgerangeerde regisseurs, futloze sterren, oude beroemdheden en drugsverslaafden. Hij belandt al snel in de onderwereld van de homoporno en prostitutie.
