De mimespeler Antoine Moreau wordt door de Gestapo gedwongen een voorstelling te geven voor de kinderen van Terezin, een zogenaamd 'model'-concentratiekamp, ​​om de waarnemers van het Rode Kruis ervan te overtuigen dat het kamp werkelijk is wat het lijkt.
