Under the Tuscan Sun (2003)
Als Frances, een schrijfster uit San Francisco die net verlaten is door haar echtgenoot, van een goede vriendin een 10 daagse vakantie krijgt aangeboden ziet zij dit in de eerste instantie helemaal niet zitten. Toch verzamelt zij alle moed en pakt haar koffers. Eenmaal aangekomen in Toscane koopt ze in een opwelling een vervallen villa en stort zich in een avontuur vol onverwachte verrassingen, vriendschappen en romantiek. Een avontuur dat haar leven zal veranderen!
