Farinelli (1994)
Farinelli is zes jaar oud wanneer hij wordt gecastreerd. Al vlug beseft hij dat zijn uitzondelijk zuivere sopraanstem nu alles is wat hem rest. Zijn talent blijft niet onopgemerkt. Hij ontmoet Händel en die nodigt hem uit mee naar Engeland te gaan. Riccardo, die zelf componist is, dwarsboomt die plannen.
