L'Amant (1992)
Indochina, eind van de jaren '20. Na de schoolvakantie keert een 15-jarig meisje met de bus terug naar Saigon, waar zij op internaat zit in een lyceum. Tijdens een tussenstop wordt haar een lift aangeboden door een jonge Chinees die zich verplaatst in een grote limousine met chauffeur. De man is 32 en net terug uit Parijs.
