Only Yesterday (1933)
Na de Wall Street Crash van 1929 staat een jonge zakenman op het punt zelfmoord te plegen. Met het briefje aan zijn vrouw opgeschreven en een pistool in zijn hand, ziet hij op het bureau een dikke envelop liggen die aan hem is geadresseerd. Terwijl hij begint te lezen, worden we teruggevoerd naar de dagen van de Eerste Wereldoorlog en zijn ontmoeting met een jonge vrouw genaamd Mary Lane.
