Donna and Ally (2023)
Donna en Ally komen regelrecht uit een stedelijke vertolking van 'Romy en Michelle' en zijn twee zwarte sekswerkers die de beproevingen van een twaalf jaar durende ontsnapping aan de wet hebben omgezet in een meedogenloos streven naar een legendarische status. Hun wereld, ingekapseld in rauwe humor en eeuwige hoop, belooft non-stop gelach. Ze ontrafelen een even authentiek als boeiend verhaal en bewijzen dat er geen kracht bestaat die machtiger is dan een vrouw met een droom.
