Henry VIII (1979)
Henry is een trotse monarch die tegen de kerk in gaat door te proberen van koningin Katherine te scheiden en met Anne Bullen te trouwen. Terwijl kardinaal Wolsey, de machtige Lord Chancellor van Engeland, probeert Rome te buigen naar de wensen van de koning, galmt het hof met politieke intriges en beschuldigingen van verraad.
